Dreaming Big Gives You Motivation … Every Single Day

When you have some sort of goal in mind (or are looking at the bigger picture, which is your dream), you are motivated every single day. You want to get closer and closer to making your dreams come true.

However, you know these two things: (1) Reaching your dreams is more of a marathon than a fast race. (2) You are going to get better — and closer to your dreams — day after day.

When you dream big, your mind goes crazy. It thinks of this perfect life, perfect scenarios — and that is very motivating stuff.

dream bigLimiting Yourself Is, Well, Limiting Yourself

You should dream big for this reason alone: You don’t want to limit yourself. The sky is literally the limit when it comes to creating your dreams, so why would you want to limit that process?

Limiting yourself is literally putting a ceiling on how successful you want to be (how high you can fly). Limiting yourself, in a sense, is settling. Never settle, dream big and then go out and be the person you want to be.

You Are Forced To Work Harder

When you dream big, you are forced to work harder. After all, even something as simple as taking a day off could seriously stall the journey that is making all of your dreams come true.

When you dream big, you put a plan in place, and then you work hard all of the time, and the motivation continues to fly out.

Side note: Making your dreams come true should not be an easy process, but the ending is worth it.

Our Dreams Excite Us

If your dream doesn’t excite you, then you are clearly not dreaming big enough. Your dreams should excite you — to say the least. Your mind should be racing during this process, and the thought of standing still should agitate you, because you just want to get out there and work toward accomplishing your goals.

Dreaming big is very intriguing stuff, and this process should fuel you to be better, to become the person you were meant to be.

It’s Your Life

It’s your life, so you should be able to dream as big as you want to. If you want to run your own business, dream big then dream about running your own business. If you want to be a writer, a painter, a singer, an entrepreneur, rich, successful, then — like Nike says — just do it. Heck, if you want to go to the moon, then dream about going to the moon.

This is your life, and in your life you can be anything you want to be — well, if you work hard enough, that is.

You still might come up short, but the important thing is working hard — giving it your all — so you at least set yourself up for success, and place yourself on the right path.

Dream big — because it’s your life.
